Collette Rhoden, PT, DPT

Dr. Collette Rhoden received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. She later returned to work in her hometown of New York City for a little over a year before pursuing her dream of becoming a Travel Physical Therapist. For over 2 years Dr. Rhoden acquired 6 Physical Therapy state licenses and worked in many states including Virginia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Texas. During her travels she worked very closely with patients seeking treatment for gait and balance disorders, vertigo/dizziness and concussion injury and became very fond of working with that specific population. While on her assignment in Texas she developed an admiration for the people of the state as well as the lifestyle and decided a year later to move down permanently. She found her work home with Great Hills ENT Hearing and Balance Center of Austin in June 2018.

She is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She holds a certification in the LSVT BIG program specializing in patients with Parkinson’s disease. She also is a certified Clinical Instructor. She looks forward to attaining a specialized certification in Vestibular Therapy and promoting her skills and knowledge to patients in need. She is eager to serve her new community she now calls home.

Dr. Rhoden is originally from Brooklyn, NY. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, cooking, leisure traveling, listening to music, writing songs and poetry.
